South Bimini Freediving with Sharks

I have been away from the office for a while and wanted to write about the experience I am having with my family on South Bimini island.

We came down here on vacation and to freedive with hammer head sharks. Yesterday we went out with Bimini Shark Lab and dove for two hours with 6 hammer head sharks and 5 nurse sharks.

Everyone should try this, it is an incredible feeling to be that close to animals that are so big and powerful. Anyone who is afraid of sharks should especially try this, because you will come to see how graceful they are and non threatening. They show curiosity towards us, but no hostility. If they wanted to eat us, they had lots of opportunity, but they just don't consider us as food.
